A Conversation That Means So Much to Me
There are moments in life where you pause and think…
Wow, God really brought us here.
This is one of those moments.
On Wednesday, April 1st at 5 PM, I’ll be joining the ABA Mom Podcast on YouTube to share the story behind Decode Your Dollars—but more importantly, the story behind why it had to be created in the first place.
And that story… is Jayden.
Where This Really Started
Like so many of you, my journey didn’t begin with a business idea.
It began with a child.
A child who is bright, capable, creative…
but who struggled in ways the world doesn’t always understand.
Jayden’s path hasn’t been linear. Between dyslexia, learning differences, and everything he has overcome—including having to relearn so much after his cardiac arrest—we’ve seen firsthand what it means to fight for every step forward.
And one thing became very clear to me:
There are not enough resources for young adults like him.
Not real ones.
Not ones that respect their age, their dignity, and their potential… while still meeting them where they are in reading.
Why I Created Decode Your Dollars
I didn’t set out to write a workbook.
I set out to solve a problem.
I saw a gap—this huge space where teens and young adults were expected to understand real-world concepts like money, budgeting, and independence…
but were given materials they couldn’t actually read or connect with.
Or worse… materials that felt like they were made for little kids.
That didn’t sit right with me.
So I created something different.
A workbook built on Orton-Gillingham principles—because structured, explicit, multisensory learning works.
But also something that felt real. Adult. Respectful. Practical.
Something that says:
You belong in this world. You can learn this. We’re just going to teach it in a way that works for you.
Becomingly Was Born From This
Decode Your Dollars was never meant to stand alone.
It’s part of something bigger.
Becomingly was created as a space where:
Learning differences are understood
Growth looks different for everyone
And families like ours don’t feel so alone
Because the truth is… there are so many of us walking this road. And we don’t talk about it enough.
Why This Podcast Matters
This conversation isn’t just about a workbook.
It’s about:
What it really looks like to raise a neurodivergent child
The gaps in education that families are quietly navigating
And how we can start building better, more inclusive resources
It’s about sharing our story—honestly.
The hard parts. The hopeful parts. And everything in between.
I’d Love for You to Join Me
If you’ve ever felt like your child didn’t fit the mold… If you’ve ever wondered what their future could look like…If you’re walking this journey too— I would love for you to be there.

From My Heart
This is bigger than me. Bigger than a book.
This is about creating a world where our kids are not overlooked… where they are taught in ways that actually reach them… and where they are given real tools for real life.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
Truly.
